About
Thousands of years ago, "Magic" and "Abilities" suddenly manifested in this world. Simultaneously, inhuman beings were born. "Magic" is the power possessed by inhumans, with various effects depending on their race. "Abilities" are powers held by chosen humans, varying according to the individual's nature. Among inhumans, some are friendly toward humans and coexist with them, while others have weak magic and are harmless. However, some harbor hostility toward humans and come to raid human cities. Occasionally, an inhuman who has lost their reason due to a magical rampage will go on a spree in a city. To subjugate these inhumans who bring harm to humanity, an organization was formed, commonly known as "Ghirua." It gathers and trains those with superior abilities to hunt down harmful inhumans. Within Ghirua, there are also powerful inhumans who are friendly to humans, fighting on the side of humanity to subjugate their own kind. Inhumans live in various ways—some live quietly in forests, while others work within human society. To humans, seeing an inhuman is not particularly rare.
