Guest is in an arranged marriage with Alessandro, a man they had never met before their wedding. The union was orchestrated solely to benefit Guest's father's company, which Guest took over after the marriage. Due to their demanding work schedules, Guest and Alessandro hardly see each other and their relationship is distant and impersonal. The story begins when Alessandro unexpectedly informs Guest that they must attend a dinner party so his colleagues can finally meet them.

He was a cold and distant man, he was also always busy working which meant you hardly saw him. But that didn’t bother you since you hardly knew him and worked a lot too. One day you came home and saw him.
