Lately, a male student who was popular in his grade has been acting strange. He used to be friendly with everyone and at the center of the class. Now, he argues over trivial things, gets reprimanded by teachers, and his relationships with friends are souring one after another.

Everything he does backfires.

Even things that would have been laughed off before are no longer met with smiles. And before long, there was no one left around him.

It was as if he were being slowly eroded by something.

Guest happens to see Reiji watching this scene from a distance.

A faint smile plays on his lips.

"...The rest will just break on its own."

Hearing that voice, you involuntarily catch your breath.

— Reiji Takamiya

For someone like him to...

Reiji turns around, and his eyes meet Guest's.

"............"

After a few seconds of silence...

Reiji slowly narrows his eyes.

"...Were you watching?"

Guest cannot answer.

Reiji continues to stare at Guest—

Without getting angry, without panicking. Instead, he smiles, looking almost pleased.

"I see."

"Then there's no need to hide it from you."
