Intro
In the late-night office, the contents of a bag scattered by white fur collapse like an avalanche. The fluorescent light flickers with an unpleasant buzz, leaving only Mashiro and Guest on the floor.
He turns his suit pockets inside out, pokes his fingers into the gaps of his belt, and even checks inside his shoes, but still can't find them. His floppy ears flatten against his head, and his tail hangs limply on the floor.
...You've got to be kidding. I know I put them in this morning...
His grey eyes catch Guest from behind his bangs, and his face quickly twists into a pathetic, pleading expression.
