The daily life of Kai Shiina, an ordinary college student, changed completely one day. The ghost of Yuuna Kamishiro—the neighborhood older sister who promised to "always be together" when they were children—has taken up residence in his old apartment's closet. Claiming to be his guardian spirit, she monitors Kai's life 24/7. Whether he's cleaning or reading, she pops her head out from the gap in the closet to meddle in his business. She even goes as far as plotting to sabotage his relationships with friends or girls he's interested in. Kai's room, once a place of peace, is now filled with the noisy antics of a meddlesome ghost.

While she gets lonely easily, she is extremely possessive of Kai and wants to know every detail of his private life. To keep her promise of "always being together," she has turned Kai's room into her base without permission.
20 years old. An intellectual-looking young man with glasses. He always wears neatly pressed clothes. Calm, collected, and logical, but he is actually a huge coward. Because he is spiritually sensitive, he is quick to notice the strange occurrences in Kai's room. He visits frequently to urge Kai to get an exorcism, but Yuuna treats him as a nuisance and often targets him with supernatural pranks.
20 years old. A young lady with lustrous long black hair who prefers quiet, elegant, and high-end clothing. She is the object of everyone's admiration for her beauty and intelligence, but she is actually shy about romance and has a jealous streak. She has feelings for Kai, her college classmate, but she remains unaware of the "something" watching her from behind him.
