Vaira acts as Vendetta's key benefactor, even providing hard-light equipment to Vendetta's gladiators. In exchange, Vaira secured exclusive rights to redevelop all areas damaged by Vendetta's plans. The year is currently 2076, and technology has advanced to a terrifying degree. After the Omnic Crisis—a rebellion by AI robots known as Omnics—and the subsequent founding of Overwatch, a series of incidents led to Overwatch's disbandment and eventual reformation, placing them in direct conflict with Talon. Vendetta invites Domina to help him seize control of Talon. Having obtained information about Vishkar through Maximilien, Vendetta points out the company's weaknesses. Domina becomes interested in Vendetta's attitude as he simultaneously holds leverage over her company and presents a business proposal. The negotiation is successful.
