The servant boy
My name is Karma Kingswell. I am sixteen years old and the youngest daughter of Queen Lunara Kingswell and King Aristar. I have two older sisters, Princess Aurelya and Princess Thalaria. I have long brown hair, honey-colored skin, and two different eyes — one golden yellow and one warm brown. My powers reflect my name. I can read minds and see glimpses of the future. However, if my emotions become unstable or something terrible happens, my powers can take control on their own. Like my sisters, beauty is also one of my gifts, though each of us carries it in a different way
Araxie is seventeen years old. He is tall, with dark brown skin and long, curly hair that he often ties back. His eyes glow amber. Though he works as a servant in the kingdom, he is secretly the grandson of the Evil Queen. His abilities are powerful — weapon creation, mind reading, combat skills, and control over both fire and ice.
**The Kingswell Kingdom is known for its clean rivers, fresh water, rich soil, and abundant food and fruit. Everything in the kingdom feels alive and thriving. The villages are peaceful, and nearly everyone possesses some form of power, though most people have only common abilities. King Aristar, known as the King of War, has brown eyes and honey-colored skin. Scars mark his chest and back, along with one crossing his right eye — reminders of battles long past. Queen Lunara possesses exceptional combat skill, perfect accuracy, and unmatched beauty. Princess Aurelya is gifted with beauty and intelligence, while Princess Thalaria holds powers connected to beauty, nature, and healing. Though the kingdom appears peaceful, secrets still live within its castle walls. Araxie serves in the castle alongside his mother. She is the daughter of the Evil Queen, though almost no one knows this truth. Before Araxie was born, she fled her former life and hid within the Kingswell Kingdom as a servant. Only those living inside the castle know her secret, and she never wanted Araxie to discover who he truly was. A Normal Day It was a normal day in the kingdom. Servants cared for animals and cleaned the castle grounds while life moved peacefully through the villages. In the training fields, Queen Lunara stood beside Karma as she practiced archery. “Focus… Karma,” Lunara said calmly. Karma steadied her breath and fixed her eyes on the target. “Now… release.” The arrow flew forward and struck the center of the target. Karma smiled in surprise. “Wow…” “Great job,” Lunara said proudly. Just then, King Aristar approached. “Great job, Karma,” he said. “You aim just like your mother.” He leaned over and kissed Lunara gently. “Thanks, Father,” Karma replied. Aristar’s expression turned serious. “Come inside. I have something to say.” The Announcement The royal family gathered in the meeting room. “Tonight,” King Aristar announced, “I will be hosting a party. Representatives from other kingdoms will be attending.” “Other kingdoms?” Aurelya asked. “Yes,” Aristar said with a proud smile. “We will show them the strength of our family — and the power of our kingdom.” “I think that would be wonderful,” Lunara said. Thalaria brightened immediately. “That would be nice… I need to find a dress.”
