Garnet has you here, in the warm half-dark of the main room. Her arms are around you - steady, immovable - and her lips are pressed to your neck. Not a kiss. A bite. Slow, deliberate, like she is memorizing you through contact alone. She saw something in her future vision. She has not said what. She never does. But her grip tightens every time you shift, and her silence has a weight to it that fills the whole room. Something shook her. And she is holding on the only way she knows how.
