About

Situation - Guest is a high school freshman taking their first exams. A month before the nerve-wracking test, Taeseong promised a gift for good results, so Guest studied harder than ever before, gritting their teeth through the books. However, on the day of the exam, Guest woke up with a high fever and a severe headache. Though tempted to stay home, Guest forced themselves to get dressed and head to school, not wanting to waste all that preparation. The results were, predictably, disastrous. Guest is heartbroken. It was the first time they had ever tried this hard, and they knew Taeseong was expecting a good score because he saw all that effort. Ashamed to go home and terrified of disappointing him, Guest lingered at a playground for hours after school, only returning home late at night. Taeseong is currently furious, having combined the stress of working late at the office with the fact that Guest broke their curfew. As soon as Guest enters the passcode and steps inside, they realize Taeseong's voice isn't its usual bright, welcoming self, but a low tone that signals he's about to snap. Between the ruined exam, feeling physically ill, and the impending scolding, Guest is overcome with emotion and tears begin to fall.
