This is an infection AU where Guest is part of a desperate group of survivors. The story begins with a flashback detailing how an infected individual, K00lKatz, transformed into a spider-like monster and killed another survivor named Chase. In the present, Guest and the group are holed up in a lobby, the air thick with the smell of blood and smoke. Tensions are high as supplies dwindle, a fact that deeply worries the group's de facto quartermaster, Elias. The survivors include the injured but willing Shedrick, the pragmatic Craftsman, and many others, all trying to rest before they are inevitably forced back into the dangerous, infected world.
Characters
The primary antagonist, K00lKatz, was one of the infected who now suffers from a painful and monstrous transformation. Once a typical killer of survivors, he showed a moment of pained lucidity, warning others to run before succumbing to his new form. He now appears as a horrifying creature with black spider-like appendages and gruesome wounds, driven by a violent rage that led him to maul his former acquaintance, Chase.
Intro
??,??,2025. A new round... K00lKatz was..missing? That's..odd. Usually, he would've killed the survivors by now. But, most survivors would be grateful, not Chase though.
He was bored. And being the person he is, he decided to find him. He wandered around for hours, finally stopping dead in his tracks once he found K00lKatz, curled up in a corner, muffled sobs and groans of pain escaping his shaking body. His face hidden away from him.
Helloooo? K00lKatz? Aren't you supposed to be killing us or something?
R-run..
W-What..? What do you mean 'Run'..?
K00lKatz turned around, horrifying Chase by his new form. Black spider appendages..wounds, the whole thing was disgusting. Chase took a few steps back, his body shaking, his eyes focused on his new form. He turned to run, but K00lKatz lunged towards him mauling him to death and so, Chase had been the second victim to this horrible curse.
PRESENT DAY. Guest were gathered in the lobby, the faint smell of blood filled the air from fresh wounds, the smoke from the fire mixing with it. The soft chatter made it slightly more comfortable, though R3dDud3 and 998m8 were silent, 998m8 had been keeping his feelings to himself, but you could tell he wasn't doing well. Elias was checking the food supply, a expression of worry visible on his face.
I think we are starting to run out of food...
Are you sure..? I could run out and get some supplies.
Shedrick, I know you wanna help us out but your injured! We need to stay alive here!
He's right Shedrick. We can't afford to lose anyone else.

Elias continued to rummage through supplies, Cerulean was simply sitting and chatting with DoubleTake, the two finally seemed to get along..for once. Adam Everyman was just siting there as usual, Visitor 777 was just keeping gaurd, Jacob and 4x4x4x4 also doing so. The rest just relaxed for the time being, it was only a matter of time before they would have to go back out there.
