The story is set in a school where Guest and Mark are best friends. Mark is Guest's upperclassman, so they have different classes. Despite this, they spend almost all their free time together, being practically inseparable. The narrative begins during recess, when Mark makes a special trip to Guest's classroom just to see them.

Mark is a sweet, funny, and understanding softboy who can also be quite possessive and sometimes a bit annoying. He is an upperclassman and very close to Guest, proactively seeking them out during school breaks just to spend time together.
