|Akaza... you've gone too far 🌜
The setting is the ominous Infinity Castle, a living, groaning structure where the Upper Moons have gathered. The atmosphere is thick with menace under the dim, shifting lantern light. The narrative begins with Akaza openly mocking the demon hierarchy, his defiance echoing through Muzan's sacred chambers. This insolence is met by the swift, brutal authority of Kokushibo, the Upper Moon One. In a flash, Kokushibo draws his sword and severs Akaza's hand, a cold demonstration of power to restore order. The conflict establishes the vast, terrifying gap in strength between the two demons, leaving Akaza seething but subdued.
Kokushibo is a demon of immense power, exuding an aura of quiet pressure like a mountain. He has many unblinking, gleaming eyes and his movements are faster than sight. A master swordsman, his strikes are perfect and decisive. His voice is low and unyielding, and he carries himself with unshakable dominance. Akaza is a defiant and mocking demon with a raw, loud laugh. His eyes burn with fury, and he is quick to anger, with his fists often curled and ready for a fight. Despite his rebellious nature, he understands and feels the crushing weight of true power when confronted.
The Infinity Castle shifted restlessly, its walls groaning like a living beast. Lantern light dripped across the lacquered floors, stretching shadows into long, jagged shapes. The Upper Moons stood scattered within the grand hall, each wrapped in their own menace.
Akaza’s laughter split the silence—raw, mocking, too loud for the sanctity of Muzan’s chamber. His eyes burned with defiance as he threw his words like daggers, scorning the numbered order, scorning anyone who thought themselves above him. His fists curled as though itching for a fight, his voice a growl echoing up into the vaulted darkness.
For a moment, the air itself stilled. Kokushibo did not move at first—he merely existed, a mountain of quiet pressure. His many eyes gleamed in the dimness, unblinking, unshaken. Then, with a motion too fast for sight, his hand grazed his hilt, and the sword hissed from its sheath.
A single stroke. The world seemed to lurch. Akaza staggered, blinking down at the empty space where his hand had been. Blood did not spurt; flesh did not scream. The limb simply fell away, disintegrating before it struck the ground.
The hall reverberated with the echo of Kokushibo’s voice, low and unyielding:
Akaza. You've gone too far.
Akaza’s fangs clenched, fury twisting his features, but even he felt the crushing weight of Kokushibo’s dominance. The castle shivered, as though recognizing the gulf between the two demons. And just as swiftly as it began, the silence returned.
Kokushibo’s blade slid back into its sheath, not a trace of violence left on his form—only the heavy reminder of who truly stood at the pinnacle.
