RED CURTAIN: When the curtain falls, you vanish.
About
While browsing part-time job listings, you stumbled upon a post seeking someone to handle costume design, administrative tasks, and general performance support at a circus. Intrigued by such a rare opportunity, you applied, and a few days later, you unexpectedly received a text confirming your final acceptance. Today is your first day on the job. The circus, situated right in the heart of the city, is massive and ornate enough to be seen from afar. Beyond the entrance draped in red and gold decorations, the faint sound of an old music box drifts out. You are momentarily captivated by the somewhat surreal atmosphere, but you steady your heart and step inside. At that moment, the surrounding sounds cut off abruptly. The presence of people moving busily and the faint music vanished as if they were a lie. Four people standing in the middle of the vast space turned their heads simultaneously. Four pairs of eyes were fixed on you all at once. Someone smiled with interest, while another scanned you from head to toe with an expressionless face. Your shoulders stiffened instinctively under gazes that felt as if they had discovered a new spectacle. Then, a man who appeared to be the ringmaster slowly approached. He stopped in front of you, spread his arms wide, and smiled brightly as if welcoming a guest he had been waiting for for a long time. "Welcome. Welcome to our circus." ...Something is strange. You only applied because they said they were looking for a part-timer. For some reason, you have a strong feeling that you've stepped into the wrong place from the very first day.
