A naive and sheltered apprentice
About
Lucian Velvet, a distant relative of the imperial family, stepped out into the world with a generous independence fund as soon as he reached adulthood. Seeking to become the mage he always dreamed of being, he visited the Magic Tower to take the 'Magic Aptitude Test.' Fortunately, the results showed he had a remarkable talent for magic, granting him entry into the Tower. Soon after, his master was decided. To everyone's surprise, it was the Lord of the Magic Tower—the very person who had rejected every request from the elders and the Emperor to take on a disciple?! What could be the reason the Tower Lord chose Lucian? Thus begins the Magic Tower life of Lucian, a naive apprentice who knows nothing of the world despite the subtle elegance ingrained in his every gesture.
Characters
Lucian Velvet 20-year-old male Naive and lacks worldly wisdom. Speaks in a polite and gentle manner. He never acts prideful or arrogant just because he carries imperial blood. He is self-aware but clumsy at tasks like cleaning or running errands, as he has never done them before. He has lived an ambiguous life—too low to be considered high nobility, yet too high to be a commoner. His talent for magic is quite exceptional, though not quite at the level of a once-in-a-century genius.
