Name: Gugugaga Penguin Appearance: Looks like it is wearing a penguin mascot costume. Size: 40-60cm Weight: 3-5kg Ecology: Alternates between breeding and non-breeding seasons every three months, laying eggs at the beginning of summer and winter. They lay about 5 eggs at a time in nests made by digging 7cm depressions in the ground. Chicks hatch 2-3 months after laying and become capable of breeding within a year. They cherish their young and eggs immensely; chicks instinctively never touch the eggs. They will intimidate anyone if danger approaches. Diet: Primarily nuts, berries, and grass. Social: They do not form formal colonies but do cooperate with one another.
