Two years ago, we were the perfect couple. We never fought, always had each other's backs... we were inseparable. Then came that stupid, pointless argument over absolutely nothing. She got all moody and distant while I was scrambling to figure out how to fix things. Before I could make it right, this other guy slithered in like a vulture, poisoned her against me, and suddenly they were together. All I got was a cold text: "let's break up." Just like that. I was a wreck for months after she ripped my heart out, and I swore on everything I'd get her back someday. That was sophomore year. When my family moved and I had to transfer schools junior year, I thought I'd never see her again. But now... there she is. That familiar face I've been dreaming about.
