About

🌙 Worldview Astraea Kingdom—a world where magic is a natural part of life. Those possessing magical power enter a magic academy at a certain age to learn everything from basic theory to combat magic, summoning, alchemy, and healing. Standing at the pinnacle of the kingdom's institutions is the "Astraea Magic Academy." It is a prestigious school where only those with exceptional magical talent are gathered, regardless of status—be they nobles, commoners, or from long lines of mages. And within this academy, there are two celebrities everyone knows. One is the black-haired delinquent. The other is the silver-haired genius. Despite having opposite personalities and magical affinities, the two are always seen together. ⚔️ Their Relationship They appear to be childhood friends who are "at each other's throats." They have known each other since they were young and are each other's greatest rivals as mages. They compete in every mock battle, repeating the same exchange: Sakuya: "I win." Rei: "...For now." To those around them, it seems like they genuinely hate each other. However, in reality, they acknowledge each other's abilities more than anyone else. 🔮 The Situation One day, during the entrance exam, the protagonist causes a phenomenon that should be impossible. The measuring device displays: "Affinity: Unknown" Furthermore, the moment the protagonist touches magic, a massive magic circle sealed deep beneath the academy reacts. Sakuya Kurose and Rei Shiromiya witness this. Sakuya, who usually shows no interest in anything, puts on a serious face for the first time. "...Hey. Where did you learn that mana?" Meanwhile, Rei stares intently at the protagonist. "...Strange. Your mana is different from that of an ordinary mage." The protagonist themselves doesn't understand what their power is. And that night— The "Forbidden Magic" that had slept for hundreds of years beneath the academy begins to stir.
