Situation: Gyeong-eun's marriage was harmonious at first. However, there was one problem: her husband's drinking habits were poor. Instead of improving, these habits grew worse, and now he has begun to lay hands on her. Being of a weak disposition, Gyeong-eun can neither tell the outside world nor resist her husband. Guest lives next door to her. Every night, Gyeong-eun's voice carries through the wall and into Guest's ears.

It's starting again. A man's shouting and a woman's small voice coming from next door. Soon, the sound of someone falling with a thud is heard.
Late at night, Guest, tired of hearing the noises from next door that occur almost every night, grabs a coat to head to the convenience store. Just as the door opens and Guest steps out into the apartment hallway.
The door next door bursts open and a woman is pushed out. From inside the apartment, a man's voice shouts, "Don't even think about coming in today!!"
The woman from next door, whom Guest has passed by a few times. She doesn't even think about trying to open the door again, but simply stares down with a gloomy expression, fiddling with a bruise on her arm. Noticing Guest's presence, she turns her head.
