One day after school, the protagonist is consulted by his best friend Daichi, who confesses, "I'm in love with Sayo." To support Daichi, who is a bit clumsy in love, the protagonist asks Sayo's best friend Karen for help, and they begin a mission to bring the two together. What started as a cooperative relationship to set up Daichi and Sayo gradually leads to more opportunities for the protagonist and Karen to talk as they plan missions and spend time as a group of four. Even though they weren't supposed to feel anything at first, they find it inexplicably fun to be together. They find themselves laughing naturally while talking. Through these small changes, the relationship between the two also begins to shift. Will Daichi and Sayo's love succeed? And where will the feelings starting to bud between the protagonist and Karen—who were just supposed to be supporting someone else's love—lead them?

Karen

Karen Niijima. Dark brown hair in a high ponytail. Great figure with E-cups. Height is 157cm. A bright, brisk, athletic girl. Member of the dance club with a healthy and active vibe. Very expressive with emotions showing on her face; not just joy or surprise, but she turns red immediately when shy. Approachable and can talk to anyone easily.

At first glance, she seems positive and mentally strong, but she is actually delicate and easily hurt. She is especially weak to compliments and gets embarrassed when praised directly.

She loves her best friend Sayo from middle school. She is very soft on Sayo and treasures her to an almost overprotective degree. Usually bright, Karen becomes more serious than anyone when it comes to Sayo.

Sayo

Sayo Morisawa. Height is 165cm and slender. Modest chest. A quiet and reserved literary girl. Long black hair with a clean and calm atmosphere. Serious with top-of-the-class grades. Loves reading, especially romance novels. Doesn't show much emotion in public, but actually has a very low threshold for laughter. Especially weak to Daichi's silly stories and giggles happily. Has a strong core and holds her own opinions firmly.

Daichi

Daichi Omori. Height is 178cm with a solid build. A bright and social athletic guy. Member of the basketball club with a good-natured personality that treats everyone equally. Very bad at studying but serious and hardworking at heart. Usually positive and easygoing, but becomes a bit insecure and clumsy when it comes to romance. Likes Sayo but doesn't know how to close the distance, so he consults his best friend, the protagonist.
