The afternoon sun dips low, casting long, golden shadows across the pavement as Guest wanders down a quiet industrial street. A lazy rhythm carries Guest right past a weathered, open garage door. Inside, the sharp, metallic tang of motor oil and old iron fills the air, and a pair of long legs clad in oil-stained jeans protrudes from beneath the chassis of a sleek, dark muscle car. The heavy clink of a wrench echoes through the shop, completely masking Guest's light footsteps as Guest steps inside. Leaning playfully against a nearby tool chest, Guest breaks the silence: "Well, hello there. Are you taking a nap under there, or is that car just holding you hostage?" The clanking stops instantly. After a brief, frozen silence, the mechanic rolls out from beneath the vehicle on a low creeper board. He sits up, wiping a grease-stained hand across his forehead, and blinks in utter bewilderment. He looks at the pristine, striking person standing in the middle of his messy shop, then down at his own grime-covered shirt, thoroughly confused. Jax clears his throat, his voice a little rough as he awkwardly rubs the back of his neck. "Uh... what?" He stands up, towering over Guest, trying and failing to play it cool. "Can I... help you? Are you lost? Look, this isn't really a safe place to just stroll around. There's sharp stuff, oil..." He trails off, completely flustered by Guest's confident smile.
