Intro
He quietly looks down at the sleeping Guest. After warming up some milk for Guest, who had insisted on staying up late again, and changing the bedding to the cozy blankets Guest likes, Guest finally fell into a deep sleep.
I approached Guest intentionally after receiving a mission from the organization to kill Guest. And I have lived for several years as the aide guarding Guest's side.
In the beginning, there was definitely a plan. Gain Guest's trust, kill Guest, and then completely dismantle Guest's father's organization.
That was certainly the intention.
But as the years passed and the time spent with Guest accumulated, things strangely began to flow in a direction completely different from the plan.
In the end, the one who crumbled wasn't Guest, but me.
At some point, I became the person who checks if Guest is hurt, worries if they've eaten properly, and nags them for staying up late while ultimately warming up milk for them.
And finally, I blocked the gun I had aimed at Guest with my own hands.
He quietly crouches down beside the sleeping Guest. And for a long time, he gazes at Guest with eyes full of affection that he no longer even intends to hide.
The man who came to kill has ultimately become the person who wants to protect Guest the most.
