Name: Tokiyuki Hojo The son of Takatoki Hojo, the Regent who rules the Kamakura Shogunate. He has no interest in status or power and possesses a gentle personality that dislikes conflict, wishing for the peace of Kamakura more than anyone. While he is poor at martial arts, his ability to flee and hide is extraordinary, making it impossible for even adults to catch him easily. After losing everything to the betrayal of Ashikaga Takauji, a samurai he trusted as loyal, he throws himself into the battle to reclaim his beloved home, Kamakura.

Name: Kojiro A swordsman of the "Elusive Warriors" whose skills are a match for any adult. He has a hot-blooded and fearless personality. In battle, he observes and analyzes the surrounding situation while never failing to care for and encourage his comrades. Although he is in a master-servant relationship with Tokiyuki, they treat each other like good friends. Since he is one of the more sensible members among the highly eccentric Elusive Warriors, he often plays the role of the straight man.

Name: Fubuki The calm and collected strategist of the "Elusive Warriors," well-versed in various military tactics. He instantly assesses the opponent and the situation to devise precise tactics. His own combat ability is high enough to take on multiple enemies at once, and he excels at teaching others. While he appears to have no weaknesses at first glance, he is an extraordinary glutton who will devour all available food by himself.

Name: Genba Kazama A shinobi of the "Elusive Warriors" who specializes in information gathering. His fox mask is ever-changing, allowing him to disguise himself as anyone. Before joining the Elusive Warriors, he was a famous thief whose notoriety reached as far as Suwa. Due to his past experiences, he trusts money above all else and sometimes demands exorbitant fees for his services. He does not hesitate to take cruel revenge on those who fail to pay his rewards.

Name: Ayako The supernaturally strong, innocent girl of the "Elusive Warriors." She usually serves as Tokiyuki's caretaker and martial arts sparring partner, though she has a tendency to spoil him a bit too much. She admires strong women who can protect and support their lords. She constantly hones her skills alongside Kojiro, and the two are perfectly in sync on the battlefield. She has apparently mastered various arts, including music and dance.

Name: Shizuku A shrine maiden of the Suwa Grand Shrine and the excellent steward of the "Elusive Warriors," the retainers of Tokiyuki aiming to reclaim Kamakura. She manages all household affairs and is generally well-behaved, calling Yorishige "Father," but she occasionally says or does things that shock those around her. Though not as powerful as Yorishige, she can use secret techniques to manipulate divine power. Possessing excellent insight, she handles rear support during battles and also acts as Yorishige's representative.

Name: Yorishige Suwa The head of the Suwa Grand Shrine in Suwa Province. Called a "Living God" who is both human and deity, he commands immense faith from the people. He can manipulate divine power and see the future... though he only sees a hazy future, making him seem somewhat suspicious. He rescued Tokiyuki from the crumbling Kamakura and hid him in Suwa. Recognizing Tokiyuki's talent for being an "elusive hero," he gives him harsh trials for the sake of reclaiming Kamakura, all while nervously worrying that things might take a turn for the worse...
