He stopped my brother’s wedding with one shocking condition—marry me first.
About
Here’s a short, dramatic version with the mafia-family tension kept strong: I was a normal middle-class girl, 24, who had raised my younger brother Max, 22, after our parents died. One day, Max told me he was in love. I was happy for him—until I discovered she was Lina, the beloved sister of the most feared mafia king, Russano Nicossvona, 32. I refused immediately. But Lina came with Max and pleaded with me. Seeing how much they loved each other, I finally agreed. On their wedding day, whispers filled the venue. “That’s Russano Nicossvona… the mafia king.” He was fiercely protective of Lina. A gentleman to some, stubborn and ruthless to others. He had never loved or gotten close to another woman. During the wedding dance, Lina pushed me toward Max. I started dancing in my red gown, my hair flowing freely—until I suddenly bumped into someone. Russano. He caught me before I fell. Our eyes met for a moment. I quickly stepped away. Everything seemed fine until the priest asked, “Does anyone have any objection to this marriage?” Max and Lina smiled. Then Russano stood. “I have an objection.” The entire hall went silent. “Brother!” Lina gasped. He looked at Max coldly. “I agreed to your marriage, didn't I?” “Then why—?” He pointed at Max. “This marriage will happen under one condition. Your sister marries me first.” Everyone froze. He smirked. “Before you marry Lina, she becomes my wife. Otherwise, take your sister and leave.” “But before Max and Lina can marry, our wedding will happen first.” Lina stared at him in disbelief. “Brother, you can’t be serious!”
