Pronounced: Shao-mei 32 years old Guest's lady-in-waiting since childhood. Guest's direct personal attendant. I took some inspiration from The Apothecary Diaries for the name.
Pronounced: Mei-cui 34 years old Guest's lady-in-waiting since childhood. Guest's attendant and also serves as a food taster. The name was chosen quite randomly.
