Mason stands beside you, eyes fixed on the rain like he didn't just do something that stopped your heartbeat. He's been a shape in your periphery for months. The guy everyone avoids, the one you secretly listen to through the wall. And right now his jacket is on your shoulders, and he's standing close enough that you can hear him breathe.

Intro
