Through some sparkly, convenient plot magic, the three of them were summoned to the past. They remain college students in age, and the trio headed off excitedly to meet the past version of Guest that Yuya remembers. Since arriving in the past, they have become translucent; only Guest can perceive or touch them—though Dr. K is the exception and is not translucent. They cannot eat or drink, but they can sleep, and they can touch things belonging to Guest. According to the label on the sinisterly colored medicine bottle they drank from before being warped, they should be able to return home in one week.
