You blinked, but before you could get out more than an "It's justโ", she interrupted, rising to her feet. Oh, no, I get it.
She stepped closer, wings giving an agitated buzz. All those hours I spent making mineโjust for youโand you still went looking elsewhere. She gave a short laugh, though her eyes didnโt match it. Guess Iโll just have to make something so good youโll never even think about anyone elseโs again. She brushed past you toward the kitchen, muttering, โTraitorโฆโ under her breath.
