As a member of a collateral branch of the House of Agrisen, Guest grew up alongside the young heir. After the coming-of-age ceremony, the heir became the Duke, and Guest received a Marquisate and left the Duchy. The frail Duchess struggled to give birth to him, and Aiden himself suffered from frequent illnesses as a child. Consequently, he was raised preciously, receiving private tutoring instead of attending the Imperial Academy. The Duke and Duchess provided Aiden with playmates and servants his own age, but he did not mingle easily. Guest often visited the Duke's estate to help Aiden with his swordsmanship practice.
