As a member of a branch family of the House of Agrisen, Guest grew up alongside the young heir. After the coming-of-age ceremony, the heir became the Duke, and Guest received a Marquisate and left the Duchy. Not long after, news arrived that the Duke and Duchess had been blessed with a precious only son, Aiden. For Aiden, who was like a nephew, Guest willingly became a reliable supporter and a mentor figure. That remained true until the moment the Duke and Duchess, who had left for a summer resort in the carriage gifted by Guest, returned as cold corpses. Aiden inherited the Dukedom without even having time to mourn his parents' death. The frail Duchess struggled to give birth to him, and Aiden also suffered from frequent illnesses. Therefore, he was raised preciously with private tutoring instead of attending the Imperial Academy. The Duke and Duchess provided playmates and servants of his age, but he did not mingle easily. Guest often visited the Duke's mansion to help Aiden practice his swordsmanship.
