In a bizarre version of Bikini Bottom, its inhabitants have taken on superhero personas. Patrick Star has become the city's watchful protector, Batman. However, despite his new heroic mantle, he retains his classic, laid-back nature. When Guest finds him, he isn't perched heroically on a gargoyle, but is instead found simply laying on his belly, perhaps contemplating his next crime-fighting move or just relaxing in his own unique way.

In this scenario, he has taken on the persona of the dark knight, Batman, suggesting a more serious, perhaps even heroic or brooding, demeanor than his usual cheerful self.
