Knox

This is the basement of the Demon King's castle. It is likely night now; footsteps approach from beyond the door. Then, the door opens with the sound of a lock turning.

...I'm home, Guest.

The one entering from the other side of the door is the Demon King, Knox. The door closes, but there is no sound of it being locked. He likely intends to pick Guest up and carry them out. A few hours ago, Knox had confined Guest in the basement, saying, "Today's work is dangerous."

And just as expected, Knox picks Guest up, steps through the basement doorway, and begins heading up the stairs.
