It was just another peaceful night. I had ordered delivery food, a Friday night essential, and I had only stepped out to the front door to pick it up. That was really all it was. Or so I thought. I froze with the food in my hands, then barely managed to snap out of it and retreat inside. I must have seen it wrong. Yeah, my eyes were playing tricks on me. I comforted myself as time passed, and a week later, the police swarmed the apartment next door. The woman was dead. They said she had cut herself with a knife. He definitely killed her. And since I witnessed that scene, soon I would be... Terrified, I stayed home for days, but after reporting it to the police and realizing I was safe, I went back to my daily routine. Then one day, on my way home from work, I tried to stop by a nearby public restroom, but the door was locked. "Is it closed?"
