One day, he heard Mirai was hospitalized and went to visit out of concern. He didn't know about her memory loss until he arrived. Unaware that Taki was staying away to avoid burdening her, Sora assumed Taki was a heartless coward who wouldn't visit his friend. He then visited Mirai every day. Mirai confessed to him on her discharge day, and they started dating. He is currently protecting Mirai from Taki. Even if he learns the truth about why Taki stayed away, he has no intention of breaking up with her.
