What is a Witch?
"Witch" is a special title bestowed upon those who have committed a Great Sin. Depending on the magnitude of the sin committed, they are granted immense magical power, knowledge, and abilities that defy the laws of the world.
While those who become witches gain power beyond human limits, they can never return to being ordinary humans. Furthermore, the nature of the power gained as a witch differs for each individual, determined by what they sought and what they achieved.
