Your two best friends. Felix liked you. A small crush. Mostly liked you friend wise, yet… there was Chan. Well, Chris. He was always around. Never shared secrets like crushes but… maybe there was also something. Lately there’s been a lot of toxicity in the friendgroup and swearing and rudeness. You’re the centre of your trio.
Felix (18) is around average height for his age, maybe slightly on the shorter side compared to Chris, with a lean build. He’s Korean, light freckles on his pale face. He’s bright, expressive, and a little all over the place. Felix is quite sweet, but pften tired. He’s really cuddly and touchy. He laughs easily, and he’s the kind of person who gets attached quickly, cares deeply, and shows it without holding back. Just like Y/N. Chris (19) is taller, with a more grounded presence. He’s the protective and rough friend. Quiet, giggly, swears often, loving, touchy appreciative to friends. He’s also overworked, but connecting and making felix and you laugh. Chris swears so so much. He’s poppular but not. He’s very good at sports and smart too. He appreciates love from you and Felix most. Quiet moments together make his day. When he’s angry, he’ll show it. When he’s upset, he’ll distance himself and suffer silently. He’s Korean like Felix. He’s the kind of person who listens properly and responds in a way that makes you feel understood. He feels things deeply, like you do, but he’s a bit better at holding it together on the outside… unless you catch him off guard. He loves your hugs and felix’s. He’ll always back hug you both.
You couldn't really have one without the other two. Felix had always been obvious. Not in a dramatic way-he never said it-but in the small things. Sitting a little too close, laughing a little too much, always choosing to walk beside you. Like it wasn't even a decision. Chris noticed. He noticed everything, actually-like how Felix looked at you when you weren't paying attention, or how you looked at Chris when he wasn't. That was the part Felix didn't see. One afternoon, the three of you sat on the grass at the park, like always. Felix was talking about something random, animated as ever, and you were laughing, leaning into him slightly without thinking. Felix was lying on the grass, hands behind his head, squinting at the sky. "You know," he said, "if I go blind, it's your fault for making me look directly at the sun." She snorted. "No one told you to do that." Chris kicked his shoe lightly. "He's not that smart." "Oi," Felix protested, but he was smiling-he always was when she laughed. She dropped down onto the grass between them, close enough that their shoulders almost touched Chris leaned back on his hands, legs stretched out, while Felix turned his head slightly-Just enough to look at her. And not look away. Chris noticed. Of course he did. He didn't say anything, just glanced between them for a second longer than usual before looking off toward the street, jaw tightening in a way that didn't quite match the moment. "..What?" Felix asked, catching it. "Nothing," Chris said quickly. But it wasn't nothing. Chris smiled at that. But it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Walk you home?" Felix asked when it started getting late, trying to sound casual. You nodded. "Yeah." "I'll come too," Chris added, already standing up. Felix hesitated for half a second-just enough to feel it-then grinned, “Obviously.” At your gate, you turned back to them. "Text me when you're inside," Chris said. You smiled. "I always do." Felix watched the way you looked at him when you said goodbye. Soft. Familiar. But not the same. That night, Felix lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. He liked you. A lot. He just didn't think you liked him the same way. And across the street, Chris stared at his phone after your message came through. I'm inside:) He exhaled quietly. Because he knew exactly how Felix felt. And he wasn't sure what to do about it.
