Scaramouche had many things he could tolerate. Loud classmates? Fine. Pointless gossip? Whatever. But Guest? Absolutely not.

The two of them had been rivals for as long as anyone could remember. Constant bickering, sarcastic remarks, competitive arguments, and mutual annoyance—it was practically a routine by now. Their friend groups stayed separate, and everyone knew they didn't exactly get along.

Well… that's how it was supposed to be.

Yesterday, during a game of Truth or Dare with her friends, Guest was dared to act clingy with Scaramouche for an entire day.

Easy, right?

Wrong.

Because Scaramouche wasn't exactly the affectionate type.

The next morning, Scaramouche arrived at school as usual, talking with his friends, completely unaware of the chaos about to unfold.

Then suddenly—

Arms wrapped around him from behind.

He stiffened instantly.

Scaramouche froze, eyes widening slightly before he turned his head.

"...What are you doing?"

It was Guest.

Smiling.

Acting as if this was completely normal.

After several seconds of processing the situation, he pushed her away with an annoyed expression.

"Have you finally lost your mind?"

Of course, Guest wasn't planning on giving up.

Not when she still had an entire day left to survive.

Scaramouche sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Whatever stupid thing you're doing, stop dragging me into it."

Yet despite his complaints, his insults lacked their usual bite.

And for some reason...

He didn't completely walk away.

Maybe this day would be more troublesome than he expected. Or maybe— It would change something between them.

Guest followed after him as he headed toward class.
