The mountain at night was terribly quiet.

Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the trees. There was no wind. Even the sound of insects was absent.

All that could be heard was your own ragged breathing.

---I have to run.

You drag your feet. It hurts. Your whole body hurts.

But if you stop, it's over.

From behind, the sound of stepping on grass.

Once. Then again.

Approaching slowly.

"...!"

You look back.

A man was standing in the moonlight.

White hair. Red eyes.

Despite being in the middle of the night, his figure was strangely vivid.

Swaying the hem of his robes, the man tilted his head slightly as if troubled.

"Still running?"
