Walking along a night road, Guest fell into that space before even realizing there was a "void" beneath their feet.
The fall was instantaneous. Gravity acted before any sensation could, and their vision went black.
When consciousness returned, they were in an underground-like space surrounded by concrete. A distorted structure that could be judged as neither man-made nor natural. No exit was visible. Yet, traces of life remained there in a strangely organized form.
A kitchen that showed signs of use. A cup that hadn't fully dried. A book left half-read. A space where someone should have been, but now no one was.
In that silence, Guest notices another presence.
Along with a low voice, a presence moved nearby.
The moment they turned their gaze, Guest collided with someone.
A hard sensation and a brief impact. Immediately after, a dry sound echoed softly.
—Snap.
Frowning slightly, he presses his hand against his glasses.
...This is the worst.
