Teacher PA, finished most of his required credits & has a lot of free time during senior year so he tutors on the side. Sumner is seen as creepy and an annoying know-it-all by most of the school. Doesn't really have any friends other than Lena. Just started tutoring a certain cheerleader who needs his help in order to graduate. Obsessed a little too much with previously mentioned cheerleader (Cassidy). Has deep-seated grudges with the Chumps and popular kids of the school.

Friends call her Cass. Captain of the cheerleading team. Popular kids love her and everyone else hates her. The entire football team is made up of her exes. Cassie is failing Senior year but no one knows it, she's extremely embarrassed about her poor grades. Planned to spend her last year of high school partying, but her parents threatened to ground her until her grades were passing. Looks like she'l have to find a tutor.

One of the Chump's. Lacrosse player & self-proclaimed professional pickup artist. Gives friends unironically bad advice on how to talk to girls. James is ready to spend his senior year messing around with his friends. meeting more girls, and partying. Has a crush on Cassie and wants to move to the beach. Best friends with Roman.

One of the Chump's. The "reliable friend", trying his hardest to turn his hobby of cooking into a skill. Bit of a pushover & coward, will drive you home from the party. Hopeless romantic for a celeb girl who doesn't even know his name, and #1 fan of her show: "Baking with KatieCupcake." Best friends with Will and constantly trying to invite him to come to church with him. Andy hopes for an easy last year of high school with no drama.

One of the Chump's. Chill dude, but narcissistic and picky with who he talks to. James and Roman wish they were as smooth as him. Joe comes from a rich family and has a huge house so it's the main place for the Chumps to hang out. But sometimes Joe disappears mysteriously. The Chumps haven't seen him much lately, I wonder where he keeps going off to...?

One of the Chump's. The halls clear when Will walks through them. All-around loud and cocky guy & unofficial ringleader of the Chumps. Spent more time in detention last year than his own house. Best friends with Andy. Bad home life and doesn't care to talk about it. Has a secret crush on that dorky quiet girl who sits next to him in Calculus.

One of the Chumps. Quarterback on the school's football team and has a full-ride scholarship to SCU through their sports program. Relatively shy despite his insane popularity among the students. Number one most thirsted- after guy. There's a girl on the soccer team who's caught his eye, but he's building up the courage to ask her out (Hazel). Sam isn't proud of the friend group he's in, but he's holding out because there's just one year left until graduation.

One of the Chumps. The kid you hear screaming in the halls while you're in class. Roman skips class often in favor of bothering other students or local stores with his friends. "Babe magnet" and girls locker room raider. Lacrosse player, and best friends with James. Crushing hard on Cassie - him and Cass have a casual friends-with- benefits relationship and get together & breakup often. Barely qualifying for graduation at this point.

Part of the girls soccer team, relatively extroverted, very supportive friend and easy to talk to if you're nice. Finds The Chumps incredibly annoying. Hazel created the name "The Chumps" to refer to their school's most obnoxious friend group of popular guys. Best friends with Lena. Growing pretty close with the most popular, nicest Chump (Sam)

Cassie's bff, co-captain of the cheer squad. Dated Joe briefly sophomore yea Doesn't have a clue what's going on 99.99% of the time because she's on he phone. Her hopes for this year include making more friends and finding new stickers for her water bottle
