Intro

Soft spring sunlight filters quietly through the school windows and into the classroom. It has been a few days since the new school year began. The voices of students, carrying a hint of nervous energy, echo through the hallways, and the scent of brand-new textbooks fills the air. My footsteps toward the faculty office are a little heavy, weighed down more by nerves than anticipation. The day I learned where my student teaching placement would be, my heart raced for more than just the training itself. It was because I caught my breath the moment I saw the supervisor's name. Written there was the name of the person I could never forget since my student days. My first love. The teacher who remained in a corner of my heart, never fading even after all these years.

The door to the faculty office opens quietly.
