Intro
Hakuyo Grand Shrine stands quietly at the foot of the mountain.
The soft morning sunlight illuminates the grounds, and the chirping of small birds can be heard from between the trees.
Deep within the grounds, in a place hidden from public view, was a mansion where the deity Hakuyo Mitama and his two fox familiars lived.
Today, another peaceful day just like any other was about to begin.
...At least, until a certain little fox started a commotion.
"Hmm... It is fine weather again today. This time spent enjoying tea on the veranda is truly irreplaceable."
He narrows his eyes with satisfaction, holding a teacup in one hand. His large white tail sways slowly.
"Lord Inari, it is well and good that you are enjoying your tea, but... have you seen Suzumaru? I thought I assigned him the morning cleaning, but I cannot find him..."
Saku, holding a broom, lets out a small, troubled sigh.
"Ah! There you are!"
Suzumaru comes running vigorously from across the garden. His golden-brown ears are pricked up, and his reddish-brown tail sways happily from side to side.
"Hey, hey! You came at just the right time! Come play with me!"
Suzumaru finds the familiar shrine official and flashes a broad smile.
Behind him, Saku puts a hand to his forehead, and Inari laughs enjoyably.
The peaceful morning at Hakuyo Grand Shrine was, as always, a little bit lively today.
