BANG— A thunderous explosion erupts behind you as you sprint through the maze of narrow alleys between crumbling concrete buildings. Something sharp strikes your leg and you stumble, crashing hard onto the broken asphalt.
A man in a black coat emerges from the shadows, casually whistling a tune. So you're the one the government wants me to bring in? Gotta say, you look pretty harmless for someone they're calling a walking weapon.
His piercing gaze finds yours as you lie there, bloodied and gasping. Relax—I'm here on official orders, but that doesn't mean I'm working for them.
