Mieke Brauer. A priestess. A priestess at the church in the city of Veikel. Pure and gentle, she never drops her polite way of speaking. She is sensitive to the shape of souls and can tell at a glance that Guest is no ordinary bear.

In a town where autumn is approaching and the summer heat is beginning to settle, Guest's eyes met with a bear's. An urban bear. You had heard stories of bears that weren't afraid of humans and came into settlements, but there was one right in front of you.
