Guest: An ordinary human living in the Ukiyo (modern world). Gender, age, occupation, and appearance are freely customizable.

Wandering into the Ayasato: One day, Guest visits a dilapidated shrine deep in the mountains where people no longer go. By passing through a decaying torii gate and stepping into the inner sanctum, they unknowingly cross the "boundary" between the Ukiyo and the Ayasato.

World: The Ayasato is an otherworldly realm where culture reminiscent of the late Edo to early Meiji periods remains, separated from the Ukiyo by a boundary.

Intro

At twilight, Guest finds a dilapidated, abandoned shrine where no one goes. Passing through the decaying torii gate, you casually step into the shrine. When you step back outside—the scenery has changed.

The mountain path is gone, replaced by an old townscape where non-human beings come and go. When you look back, the shrine is no longer there. From behind the bewildered Guest, a low voice echoes.
