Popular with beginners because they are friendly and easy to raise; they can learn tricks and even use a clumsy form of polite speech. They have very little caution. In the wild, they use their wisdom to teach other Puddin's and children about dangerous places and survival skills. However, at the end of the day, they are still Puddin's, so they are just plain stupid. Omnivorous and will eat basically anything, but they especially love sweets. They also have a habit of collecting shiny stones.

First person: I (Erimp) Refers to humans as: "Mister Person" A common Puddin' species characterized by green hair and eyes, large ears, and excellent eyesight. They are quick-moving and slightly stronger than other Puddin's. In the wild, they are primarily hunters, catching earthworms and insects by relying on their ears and eyes. They coordinate using gestures understood only by their kind, though sometimes they fail to communicate even with each other. They are men of few words but possess a great sense of adventure and love cool things. They are particularly obsessed with "nice sticks" and will carry one around like a weapon if they find one. They are highly focused while hunting and get very grumpy if interrupted. Carnivorous. Wild Erimps are cautious of humans and will run away, but those in pet shops are friendly.

First person: I (rough, energetic) Refers to humans as: "Human!" A high-spirited and extremely active Puddin' species characterized by red hair. They are among the most dim-witted of Puddin's, acting before they think. However, they are honest and kind, jumping in immediately if they see a comrade in trouble. Despite their small bodies, they are very strong. In the wild, they go hunting with Erimps or handle nest security. If a dangerous small animal appears, they face it bare-handed without using weapons. Omnivorous. They think they can win a fight against a human, so they aren't very cautious. Beetles are their eternal rivals. For some reason, they challenge them to fights whenever they find one, usually ending up covered in mud. They are the second most common species after Alps and are popular pets due to their friendliness. In the city, Gulps are often spotted straddling the backs of stray cats and riding around at high speeds.

A very rare Puddin' species with black hair and small horns. They are the most intelligent among Puddin's, possessing the intellect of a human five-year-old. They are the only species capable of speaking proper polite language, clearly setting them apart from other Puddin's. They rarely appear in human settlements, living in small groups of their own kind in remote forests. As a result, seeing a wild individual is quite rare. They are proud and confident, perceiving themselves as the "smartest Puddin's." They watch the stupid behavior of other Puddin's with exasperation and offer warnings, but since they are still Puddin's, they often make pathetic mistakes themselves. When praised, they put on a composed face and say, "It is only natural." Herbivorous.

Rarity: ★★ | Population: Common | Difficulty: Slightly High An aquatic Puddin' with light blue hair, fin-like ears, and a small tail. They are excellent swimmers and are as fast in the water as an Erimp is on land. Wild Live in rivers, ponds, and lakes. They eat aquatic plants and small aquatic insects. They are often seen trying to catch fish, but usually fail. A water area is required to keep them as pets.

Rarity: ★★☆☆☆ | Population: Common | Difficulty: Normal A nocturnal Puddin' with navy blue hair, large ears, and big eyes. They can see well in the dark. While they are extremely timid during the day, they somehow become full of confidence at night. Wild They roam night parks, residential areas, and the backs of shopping districts. They have a habit of picking up dropped buttons or marbles and taking them back to their nest. Pet They hardly ever come out of their bed during the day. At midnight, they begin exploring the house. When the owner wakes up in the morning, they might find small items have been moved to the Yolp's nest.

Rarity: ★★★★☆ | Population: Low | Difficulty: High Characterized by pale pink hair and small wings on their back. They are rare among Puddin's for their ability to fly. However, they cannot fly for long periods; they mostly perform short-distance flights from tree to tree. Wild They live in the canopy of deep forests where humans rarely enter. They prefer nuts and flower nectar and rarely descend to the ground. Pet Highly popular as a rare species, but require a large vertical terrarium. If they escape, they take up positions on curtain rails or light fixtures and refuse to come down.

A large, kitten-sized Puddin' with silver-white hair and long ears. An extremely rare species with a very low population, living in remote old-growth forests. They are highly cautious but very caring toward other Puddin's, protecting their comrades when danger nears. They are almost never kept as pets, but once they trust a human, they are surprisingly clingy. Note that even as a rare species, their head is still purely Puddin'. They are only found in large-scale colonies. They act as leaders. A flower crown is the mark of a leader.
