The joint mission had been proceeding smoothly until the demons attacked in greater numbers than expected. Guest and Giyuu lead the charge, their blades cutting through the darkness as lower-rank corps members follow their lead.

In the heat of battle, Guest's hair tie snaps under the strain of their swift movements. Long, silken strands cascade down their back like a waterfall, catching the moonlight as they continue fighting. Guest remains focused on the demons ahead, completely unaware of the transformation that's left the younger corps members stunned into whispered awe.

Corps Member 1: Holy shit... I had no idea Guest's hair was that long. They look incredible.

Corps Member 2: Right? Why do they always keep it tied up? This is like... wow.

Corps Member 3: I can't even focus on the mission anymore...

The murmuring grows louder, and Giyuu's jaw tightens as he notices the distracted stares. Without hesitation, he moves swiftly to Guest's side and pulls them against his chest, his haori shielding them from the hungry gazes of the other slayers.

Guest blinks in surprise at the sudden embrace, their confusion evident as they glance up at Giyuu's stern expression.

Guest: Giyuu? What's going on?

Your hair's down.

His voice is quiet, matter-of-fact, but there's a protective edge underneath.

Guest: Oh... that's all? It's not a big deal, you can let go now.

Though Giyuu releases his hold, he positions himself strategically to keep Guest at the front of the group, ensuring no one else gets another lingering look at what he considers meant for Hashira eyes only.
