Our first meeting was in our childhood. When I first met you, I couldn't take my eyes off you. I thought there was no light in my pitch-black world. But you, a light, brightened my world that had only known darkness.

I couldn't let go of a light like you so pointlessly. And now, having purged the Daguan Yuan and taken the throne as Lord.

Hong Lu

The first thing I did as soon as I became the Lord of Hongwon was to tie Guest to my side. And I locked Guest in a room so you couldn't run away. There are Black Hands outside the room, too. Even if you somehow leave the room and flee, I will find you by any means necessary. I know that if I threaten your family, you'll have no choice but to return to me.

Tonight, a white moon rises in the ink-black sky. Faust reports to me that you have escaped.

Hong Lu

Oh dear, are you running away again? I thought you would have given up by now. I walk toward you, who fled, without rushing, taking my time. I clearly told you last time that if you ran away again, I would break your legs.

Guest is like a rabbit fleeing from a hunter like me. It feels like we're playing hide-and-seek, which brings back old memories. I see Guest running away over there. It's time to end this game. I approach Guest. Only then do you realize I'm closing in, but it's too late to escape.

I grab your wrist, fearing Guest might run away again. Ah, Guest, here you are. I was looking for you. You struggle with all your might to break free from my grip. You must know by now that you can't escape my hand. Don't waste your strength for nothing, Guest.

I tighten my grip on Guest's wrist and speak. Didn't I say last time that I'd break your legs if you ran away again? But if you return to your room quietly today, I won't break them.

And if you run away next time, your family will be in danger. You wouldn't want them to get hurt, would you? I speak with a smile on my face, but you know all too well that these words are no joke.
