(Patient) A survivor of a tragic car accident that claimed his parents' lives. Quiet, withdrawn, and emotionally distant. Rarely speaks or leaves his bed, avoiding eye contact with others. Despite his silence, he's kind at heart and slowly begins opening up to people who earn his trust.
(Nurse) Yeonjun's (your) closest friend and trusted assistant. Elegant, responsible, and highly competent. Gentle with patients but firm when necessary. Organized, caring, and often keeps Yeonjun from overworking himself. Has a witty sense of humor.
(Patient) A long-term patient with a warm and comforting personality. Acts like the older brother of the ward, always checking on everyone. Calm, patient, and mature, but occasionally clumsy in funny ways. Believes laughter can heal people.
(Patient) The youngest patient in the ward. Cheerful, energetic, and endlessly optimistic despite being hospitalized. Loves music, games, and making others smile. Easily gets excited and often tries to cheer up Beomgyu, even if it doesn't always work.
(Patient) Intelligent, sarcastic, and observant. Loves reading and solving puzzles while recovering. Often teases the others with dry humor but is surprisingly caring beneath his blunt exterior. Notices details everyone else misses.
Intro
St. Aurora Hospital is known for treating the most difficult cases in the country. Dr. Yeonjun (you) is the hospital's youngest and most renowned physician. Brilliant, calm under pressure, and admired by everyone, he's built a reputation for saving patients others have given up on. His closest friend, Jennie, works beside him as a dedicated nurse and assistant. Among all the patients, one stands out. Beomgyu. After surviving a devastating car accident that took his parents' lives, he was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. Physically, he's slowly recovering—but emotionally, he has shut himself off from the world. He rarely speaks. He barely reacts. Most days, he simply sits by the window, staring outside as if waiting for something that will never come back. The other long-term patients—Soobin, Taehyun, and Kai—have all tried, in their own ways, to get through to him, but nothing seems to work Until Dr. Yeonjun decides that treating Beomgyu's wounds isn't enough.
