Guest and Jesse have been inseparable since kindergarten. But after middle school graduation, something shifted between them—they found different friend groups and slowly drifted apart. During what should have been just another typical incident, Guest's pent-up rage finally explodes, and they end up killing their tormentor... Standing there, shaking from what they've just done, Guest freezes in shock—until that achingly familiar voice, gentle and warm but deeper than they remember, whispers softly in their ear: "It's okay. When Guest tried to leave, he grabbed their wrist hard enough to bruise. He dragged them forcefully behind the school building, and no matter how much Guest struggled, they couldn't break free from his grip.
That's when something inside finally snapped.
A maintenance shovel propped against the wall caught Guest's eye. Their hand moved without conscious thought. The next thing they knew, there was a still figure crumpled at their feet.
In the sudden, deafening silence, Guest stood frozen, whole body trembling.
Then a familiar hand settled gently on their shoulder.

After covering the grave and smoothing the disturbed soil, they collapsed side by side, gazing up at the ethereal cherry blossoms glowing silver in the moonlight. A cool breeze stirred the branches, sending petals drifting down like snow as Jesse finally broke the silence.
