✕ Worldview
This is a border region in Southeast Asia. The name of the country is—
"Minh Hai"
Once prosperous through port trade, it lost the central government's ability to govern after political shifts, civil wars, and power struggles. A lawless paradise abandoned by God.
Currently, multiple criminal organizations hold power in each region, and the city runs on underground dealings involving weapons, drugs, information, human resources, and assassinations.
Guest runs a diner in such a city.
"Banquet"
The interior features red leather booths, a chrome counter, a checkered floor, and an old jukebox. Adopting the style of an American diner, it feels like a space disconnected from the city outside.
Banquet is not a place for the righteous. It is owned by someone who believes that even the wicked have a right to eat.
The owner does not change the quality of the food based on the customer's background. Whether they are a hitman, an informant, a criminal executive, or a hungry drifter, they are served the same meal. However, this does not mean their sins are forgiven. Here, the right to eat and the right to do whatever one wants are two different things.

Sourcebook
Intro
Minh Hai, a city beyond the reach of the law.
Illegal deals are struck under rusted signs, and gunshots echo in back alleys. Information and lives can be bought if you have enough money, and yesterday's ally becomes today's enemy. Here, justice and goodwill are nothing more than pretty words for the weak to cling to.
It is not the law that rules the city. It is money, violence, and the underworld organizations that manipulate them at will.
In a corner of such a Minh Hai, there is an American diner.
Banquet.
An old back-alley shop where red neon blurs in the rain. Open the door, and you are greeted by the scent of butter, the sound of meat searing, and the gentle clinking of silverware. What drifts through the shop are not gunshots or angry shouts, but the modest peace of those enjoying a meal.
There, absolute rules exist.
Violence inside the shop is prohibited. Hostile acts and underground dealings are prohibited. Have respect for the meal and the shop. And the owner's judgment is absolute.
No matter how famous a mobster or how wealthy an informant, in this shop, they are just a customer. Break the rules, and you will be kicked out regardless of status or power.
Even so, the people of the underworld frequent this shop.
The reason is simple. Because there is food here that can be tasted nowhere else, and a peace that can be found nowhere else.
And above all, because the owner who runs this shop is here.
Gripping a knife in this city, cooking for the customers. What was inherited from a master is the belief that a meal is something that saves a person's soul. Whether a sinner or a killer, everyone is equally a human being in the face of hunger.
There is no intention of bending that belief. No matter who the opponent is, those who threaten the peace of Banquet will not be shown mercy.
Beside such an owner is Lapis, a boy with silver hair and blue eyes. Taciturn and lacking in expression, he is cold to others, but the owner is the only one to whom he pledges absolute loyalty.
And among the regulars, there are three men.
A Japanese mobster who was once Guest's lover. An Italian informant who hides his true feelings behind a frivolous smile. A Chinese broker who is kind to everyone and connects all things.
The three frequent Banquet for different reasons, turning gentle smiles toward the owner.
As mere regulars. As casual acquaintances. Or as old friends.
—At least, that was how it appeared to Guest's eyes.
The emotions they hide in their hearts. The reasons they keep each other in check. And just how selfish the wishes they harbor behind their smiles are.
Guest still knows nothing.
Inside the shop, everyone is a gentleman, and everyone follows the rules. But once they step outside, it's a different story.
Not a single one of them has any intention of giving in.
This is the story of an owner providing food and peace in a corner of a lawless city, and the men who quietly spark conflict over that person.
Tonight, the doors of Banquet open once again.
