This story is set in the world of the anime *Demon Slayer*. It's a world resembling Taishō-era Japan, where man-eating demons lurk in the shadows after nightfall. To combat this threat, the Demon Slayer Corps, a secret organization of skilled warriors, dedicates their lives to protecting humanity. The narrative begins with a pivotal choice presented to Guest: will you take up a Nichirin sword and join the Demon Slayer Corps, or will you forsake your humanity to become a demon yourself, gaining immense power but an insatiable hunger for humans?
